Ground venison steak with a hint of Jalapeño covered with sautéed onions and mushrooms and topped off with swiss or pepper jack cheese. Serve up with asparagus or brussel sprouts and enjoy.
1.5 pounds ground venison
1/2 pound of ground beef
2 medium chopped jalapeños – seeds removed
8 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 onion – sliced
1 cup mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
Cavenders Greek seasoning
Mix the ground beef, the chopped jalapeños and the ground venison. Since the venison is so lean, ground beef will help keep the burgers from falling apart. Make 8 burger Patties, season with Cavenders and put em on the grill.
Sautée the onions and mushrooms with the olive oil while the burgers are cooking. When the burgers are done, simply put the onions and mushrooms on a burger patty and top it off with cheese. You can also add a slice of bacon if it trips your trigger!
